Metros is not a city for the poor. Situated at the strategic fork of the great Riverlands, it began as a simple trading post where Vaelune caravans stopped for water. Now, at Stage 5 (City), it is the economic engine of the entire server.

The Gilded Streets (Economic Focus)

As an Economic Node, Metros offers facilities you cannot find elsewhere. The Grand Exchange allows players to buy items listed in connected nodes without traveling—a luxury in a world without fast travel. The Mint allows guilds to invest bullion into generating interest over time.

The Oligarchy

Democracy died in Metros long ago. The government is an Oligarchy.

  • How it works: There are no elections. The Mayor is simply the citizen who bids the most money.
  • The Consequence: Laws in Metros favor the rich. Taxes are usually low for trade but high for property. If you can’t pay, you don’t stay.
