Forging Legends
In Ashes of Creation, the best gear does not drop from raids. It is crafted. A Raid Boss might drop a “recipe” or a “component,” but a Weaponsmith must put it together.
The Component System
You don’t just click “Craft Sword.” You choose the blade, the hilt, and the grip.
- Blade: Determines Damage type.
- Hilt: Determines Durability/Attack Speed.
- Grip: Adds stats (Str/Dex).
The Master’s Mark
High-level smiths can sign their work.
- Reputation: If “PlayerX” crafts a legendary sword, his name is on it forever.
- Stats: Higher mastery allows for better stat rolls on the final product.
