The Guardian is the tank of tanks. You aren’t flashy. You don’t have cool magic tricks. You just have a really, really big shield.
The Synergy: Tank + Tank
You unlock the Protection school.
- Mitigation:
- Block -> Fortress: You can block attacks for allies behind you.
- Hardiness: Your passive armor values are doubled compared to other classes.
The “Main Tank” Status
In high-tier raiding, the Boss hits so hard that a Paladin or Knight might get one-shot. The Guardian survives.
- The Job: Stand still. Hold aggro. Don’t die.
- The Downside: Your damage is non-existent. You successfully solo a mob? See you in 10 minutes.
